sHINING STAR SIGNUPS ARE SUNDAY, APRIL 26!
The Shining Stars are an incredible cheer team made up of school age boys and girls, not with disabilities, but with "different" abilities. These special athletes train 5 months a year to perform locally as the headliners for Cheerleading Night at the Coosa Valley Fair in September, regionally at the Rock n Cheer Pep Rally at the Forum in October, and as their grand finale, are the official exhibition team to perform at the GHSA State Cheerleading Championship in Macon, Ga in November!
Are you interested in your child participating in the Shining Stars program in 2026? There will be an open house for signups on Sunday, April 26 from 1-2 pm at Hot Shots Cheerleading in Rome. This is a great opportunity to meet the coaches, check out the gym, and have all your questions answered about this amazing program.

Are you a donor interested in supporting these amazing athletes? Your contribution to support this special program is 100% tax deductible, and will help these talented teammates continue to let their light SHINE for years to come! There is no donation that is too small, or too big!
Are you interested in providing a full scholarship for a Shining Star? With a pledge of $60/month, you can sponsor a Shining Star team member for an entire season, including a week long summer camp, meals included, 4 months of weekly training, team performance wear, competition uniform, and transportation to and from their performance at the GHSA State Cheerleading Championship in Macon, where their "official" team cheer is "Let Your Light Shine, Let Your Light Shine!" Your generous donation of $60/month will help one of these amazing special athletes "Let THEIR Light Shine" for an entire season.
